Description

The best way to sell something is a shop.
eBay and personal sale at trade fairs are already a good start but nothing beats your own online shop system.
That's why I developed one for my dad.

Through the system, customers should be able to simply purchase their desired products. For easier operation, a search, filter and view-history function is available.
It is possible to add several images and YouTube videos to a product which can then be viewed in a slideshow by the customer on the page of the corresponding product.
Each product has a short and detailed description. Unfortunately, the data is not so neatly maintained by my dad LOL.
In the shopping cart, the customer has the opportunity to get an overview of his purchase. Here he can once again adjust the count of the individual products and, if necessary, enter a voucher code.
At the conclusion of the order, the customer has the choice to register, to log in or to check out as a guest.
Supported payment methods are PayPal and interbank fund transfer. If my father confirms the receipt of payment or brought the products to the post office, the customer receives a notification via email.
Canceling an order is not possible by the customer. Instead, he must write a corresponding email or contact us by phone to cancel an order.

When registering, reCAPTCHA is used to protect against bots.
With an account, the customer can view the status of all his orders. The greater advantage, however, is to be able to deposit his address and not have to enter it multiple of times.
If the account has admin rights, its owner can access the “admin bar”. This is a small toolbar that is located on almost every page. For example, the admin bar on the main page allows you to add new products and generate voucher codes.
With the admin bar on an product page, you can edit its information's, invisible/visible to the customer, add images and YouTube videos, select the display image and generate an HTML code that can then be inserted into the product description of eBay.

Another benefit of the own online shop is the display of the upcoming dates of our trade fairs.
The customer has the option of using the footer to get a list of all existing and already planned fairs.
Trade fairs that start less than 30 days in the future are displayed on the main page as a banner.
From the banner, the customer can be redirected to the fair's website as well as on google maps and drive to it.
